Natural ingredients, vegan, not loaded with anything, especially sodium. As a post chemo patient, all natural plant based diets are a direct path back to some degree of normalcy/health.

We took camping over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised! Great flavor spice is amazing!! I had the Indian bowl and my husband had the creole bowl! So good very filling, will make great lunches or quick meals. So impressed I’m sending a pack to my college student as a back to school gift!

I bought these meals for camping meals but ended up just using them as lunches at home when I didn’t have time to prepare anything else. They are super easy to make. Like other reviewers said, I’d recommend using less water than the full line. I added an egg for extra protein and it kept me satiated for awhile. The flavors were surprisingly deep and yummy! I’d buy this again.

The meals are great. Super tasty, however, they send the product without a single lid when a lid is required to make the meal. It’s super annoying. Other than that they make a great, quick plant based lunch. Also don’t fill it to the water line like others have stated. You’ll make a soup.

We have been searching for some quick, nutritional, plant-based meals and with the Chef Soraya, we have found them. We purchased the sampler package, which included all six flavors. Wow, they are fantastic. The flavors explode in your mouth. All six are great, but I especially like the Kathmandu Curry. I’m not a curry lover as so many of these products use too much and overpower the other ingredients. This one has just the right amount to complement rather than obscure. We like Dr. McDougall’s. but these are our new favorite.

It’s really just beans and rice. Nothing to be impressed with.

Pretty good taste but I bought this for convenience and these were hard to make. I followed the instructions exactly and got a watery soup. The microwave at work obviously isn’t powerful or consistent enough. This needed less water and more time to sit which isn’t realistic when you only have a 20 minute lunch break. The taste was good but I will not be buying again.Update: After some adjusting, the best way to make this is filling HALFWAY with water and cooking longer. The prep really depends on your microwave. And this prevents you from getting soup. I like the Cuban Bowl the best out of all the varieties and I have repurchased after learning how to make these. Still a little peeved that it wasn’t as easy as I expected but the Cuban Bowl flavor was worth it.

My only complaints about these yummy vegan cups are, the spices are a little much at times, it’s like they put too much spices in there, but the spices are good at least. I really liked all the cups except the Cuban bowl was awful, I really tried to like it but they put banana powder in it, yuck- I could really taste the banana, I really wish they had put plantain in it instead, as far as I know Cuban dishes use plantains, not banana lol. Could do w/o the chili lime flavor one but it was still pretty edible, would have preferred a simple chili flavor w/o the lime. Overall I like the ingredients in these cups and they are filling, warm and yummy.

OK, heat wimp here and I also found out I have a sensitivity to legumes and certain spices. So this was not the best choice for me. Having said that, the ones I tried were really awesome (stomach pain and mouth burn aside). If someone likes spicy, these would be a huge winner.Like others noted, reduce water below what they mark. First off, who the HECK makes the water line a wavy line? That just is silly guys. But it will be soupy if you follow the line. I went below it about .25 in and then added a bit if it was too thick – if that is even possible!

ok waiting 10 minutes as the hot water steeps into the beans and rice is not as quick as those pre-cooked ready to eat bags of beans or rice – but the tastes and spices are scrumptious and worth waiting for. plus, on more than one occasion when I opened those packets of ready-to-eat grains by other companies, they had grown moldy. in contrast, these cups of rice and beans are dehydrated and will not go bad – that is the benefit for which the 10 minute wait is especially worth it. but relatively speaking, these mini-meal cups are much faster than cooking beans and rice from scratch. My opinions on the individual flavorsMy top two favorites: the Chick pea chana masala and the Cuban black beansMy least favorite: pinto beans New Mex Chili Lime — way too much lime flavor – tastes mostly tart, not balanced
