I first tried this at my friend’s place and found it so compelling that I am mediately ordered some for myself. The flavors are quite satisfying and unique, and to the mouth feel is as good, if not better than traditional jerky. My only complaint is that these are quite high in sugar, so I can only eat 3 to 5 pieces before feeling like I’m practically eating candy. I would love to see a less sweet version.

Best tasting vegan jerky I’ve had. It’s just pricey which I guess is to be expected

Whether you value my review may depend on what you’re looking for. I wanted a jerky that could come close to a meat jerky in taste/feel but obviously be vegetarian. The feeling of chewing noble jerky is very similar to a meat jerky, but I can’t endorse most of the flavors. From my perspective, the original is way, way too sweet when compared to any other original or old fashioned meat jerky I’ve eaten. The BBQ tastes pretty good, but the flavoring comes off the jerky on your hands and in your mouth. It was quite wet or gooey. So, it has a good taste, but the flavor separating from the jerky was a little unpleasant. It didn’t come across as a marinade, but a somewhat weird coating. The Chipotle was better. There’s still some sensation of the flavoring coming off the jerky and being a bit grainy or starchy, but the experience is overall much better. The teriyaki didn’t taste like meat teriyaki jerky, but it did taste like teriyaki. Maybe the proximity of the teriyaki flavor base to the soy protein itself highlighted the differences from meat jerky? It tasted fine, but it was the one that was most obviously a vegetarian product.

I’m a meat eater and my daughter is vegan. Since she’s changed her eating habits and gave up eating things she used to enjoy including jerky I found something that filled that niche and bought this 4 pack sampler of Noble Vegan Jerky for a Christmas present. She thoroughly enjoyed this and made her day. The jerky is plant based and looks & taste just like meat and is seasoned as such. Great buy for yourself or a family member who’s vegan .

Flavors, textures, and overall product satisfaction

When I turn vegan I had no problem giving up a steak or chicken breast it really didn’t seem appealing anymore. But there are very few things that I missed. One thing was the pepperoni dried meat sticks at the quickie Mart when I pump my gas I know… gross but something about the “pepperoni seasoning“ and chewing the salty texture appealed to me. I’m not a sugar person. I thought I would give this ago and I can honestly say it tastes just like real meat beef jerky. I love the value pack flavors! barbecue is more like a smoked brown sugar bbq. Which I love… no to sugary. The Chipotle is on point as far as a “complete” Chipotle flavor. And Teriyaki is the same. The original starts off with a Asian Sweet like season but as you chew it it changes to a pepper flavor. The original in my opinion has the best after taste. The Consistency of the beef jerky is Chewy and gets stuck in your teeth just like real beef jerky. I am really blown away how good it is and how I can now enjoy beef jerky guilt free without harming a single soul. Minus the plastic bag… it came in but you get a good amount they don’t skimp.

Ok, so I was curious. I am NOT a vegan or vegetarian. But I doooooo love me some Jerky! I had to try it.I’m not sure what kind of sorcery goes into this, but it was quite good. The texture is oddly like real jerky and the flavor was legit! The original was prob my least favorite. It was just ok. Teriyaki though, yes please! The chipotle was good but had an odd after taste. BBQ was pretty good.I felt a bit like a sally eating non-meat jerky. Because really, is it even truly jerky? I dunno.I think it was a bit pricey for what it is, but I’d prob try it again and maybe even try to mess with my friends.

As a self-proclaimed vegan jerky connoisseur, it’s my goal to try all vegan jerky options. Next up on the list was Noble Jerky. I was happy there was a multi-flavor trial pack option. The texture is good, but it lacks the classic jerky chew I personally seek in jerky. The texture falls somewhere between soft and chewy. Here is what I thought of the flavors:Original: cloyingly sweet. I would not purchase this again. It’s shockingly sweet which is not what I want in jerky. If they could reduce the sugar drastically, the taste seems like it would be pretty good.Chipotle: chipotle is not the primary flavor. It’s slightly spicy, but the flavor I can taste the most is cumin. Not being a fan of cumin, I would not buy this flavor again. Thumbs down. :(Sweet BBQ: At least they have “sweet” in the title so it’s not a surprise. The flavor is nice sweet BBQ, but the sauce they marinate it in is rather thick and it changes the texture to more mushy than anything. I probably would buy this flavor again if I were craving sweet BBQ.Teriyaki: this one is my favorite of the four flavors. It’s sweet, but that’s expected of teriyaki. I would purchase this flavor again.

Texture was not my fave. Really chewy and got stuck in my teeth. Flavors were hit or miss— I almost hate to even review based on flavor cause it’s so subjective but I’m going to anyway. The “original” was really good. Kinda salt and peppery. The chipotle tastes like tomato paste— I like tomato flavor but this is too much. And it’s pretty spicy so I can’t even pawn it off on my kids— spice level I think is fine for adults but my kids are whiny about spice. The other two were without consequence IMO. I would buy the original flavor again despite the texture. Probably won’t ever buy the 4 pack again. I know real jerky is pricey too so obviously vegan jerky would be expensive. These bags were nice to have on a road trip/beach camping. Full of protein and filled us up.

I was quite surprised by this product. I am on a low cholesterol diet and miss jerky. I ordered this to ease my cravings. the flavor and texture are great, however, it is a bit sweet for my liking, but I just don’t eat a lot of sugar, so this was really sweet. That is why the 3 star. Other than that I highly recommend this product. Though I am not vegan, this product is pretty good.
