Love it!I have been looking for a shake similar to neolife with a little bit of sugar, I can’t stand the zero calorie sweeteners and get hypoglycemic when I don’t have any sugar in a shake. 6g is just perfect to balance my blood sugar but still low calorie. I love that they engineered a new product and I’m obsessed! More flavors please! I have peanut butter and vanilla and both taste great

Honest Review But It Hinges On Your Own Individual TastesI read several reviews before buying this vegan protein powder so I wanted to offer my own personal view of this powder. I would not classify this as a “protein powder” in the normal sense of the word. It is made with nuts and pea protein. It is not only SLIGHTLY nutty in flavor, nuts are all you can taste in this powder. So, if you are making a fruit smoothie, it will taste very nutty, which in my opinion, is not a favorable taste. If you are making a chocolate smoothie it might be better. I would not recommend making a vanilla smoothie OR a fruit smoothie with this powder. It is NOT gritty it’s just that, personally speaking, the taste of this powder just did not appeal to me. I am going back to Shakeology even though it’ll put you in the poor house. You just can’t beat their vegan vanilla Shakeology.

DeliciousYUM. I have never liked a protein powder as much as I like this! I used to buy original Orgain, but the stevia turned me off. This mix is very sweet if you add it to sweetened nut milk, but actually is great with just water. It’s nutty and super chocolatey. Highly recommend!

Overly and Unpleasantly SweetI’m puzzled, given all the high reviews, and wonder if I may have somehow gotten a bad batch, but what I got I can barely swallow. I tried it 3 times– with coconut milk, almond milk, and cashew milk (all unsweetened). Each time I took one drink and dumped the remainder. It is really sickly sweet. I can’t make sense of it since it is lower sugar/carbs and doesn’t seem to have other sweeteners. I can’t do whey, need low(ish) carb options but can’t tolerate the taste of stevia, so my options are limited. I had high hopes for this one— but it is a no for me. My “winners” have been Nutiva Organic Plant Protein Superfood Smoothie, Vega Protein Made Simple, and Spiru-tein Simply Natural.

Great Taste and TextureGood flavour and not gritty! No fake sugars or stevia, which is a definite plus.

STRONG Pea Flavor; GREAT Energy Booster! The flavor isn’t my favorite, but this is a GREAT vegan protein flavor. This straight up taste like pulverized dried green peas with a hint of peanut and I didn’t get a hint of vanilla or anything else. The texture is also grittier than I prefer, specifically when mixing with water alone (10/10 would NOT recommend doing this, based solely on the flavor and texture). On a positive note, I mixed it with a smoothie and it was surprisingly good (works VERY good with berries and bananas, somehow giving off chocolate notes). My kids loved it too which DEFINITELY makes me happy. Additionally, this powder consistently gives me a healthy buzz of energy that doesn’t cause a crash which is really nice.I would absolutely recommend this powder, just wanted to describe my experiences in hopes that it’ll help one of you make your decision.

Great tasting vegan protein, no steviaI got the peanut butter and really love it. I usually add a banana with almond milk and spoonful of natural peanut butter but with this one the peanut butter flavor is pretty potent so the extra peanut butter just makes it a little much. The scoops are bigger for this one than the scoop sizes for Vega Simple protein, so need to add more milk with it. I like that this has more than just pea protein. Drinking this shake helps me feel and stay feeling fuller longer, no aftertaste or side effects. Blends well. Buy it!Oh and no stevia, yay!I also have tried the simple vanilla which is great too, I like adding a scoop of the vanilla with a scoop of the peanut butter blended with almond milk and a banana. Yummy!I’ve also tried the chocolate peanut butter cup simple powder as well, which is good too but I’m not too big on the chocolatey stuff, but it’s good when mixed with the straight peanut butter to bring out the PB which is my favorite.

OMG…this is it!I’ve been trying several protein powders over the past year and there is always something off about each one. The worst are the ones with Sucralose or some artificial sugar, the ones without sweetness are pretty plain. I needed non-dairy due to lactose intolerance. After reading a review about this powder, I had hope once again that I could find something that was tolerable. Just received and opened the chocolate one and made that into a banana split (strawberries, banana, pineapple, lactose free milk and the powder). OMG it is delicious! I feel like I am cheating on the my diet. Absolutely wonderful. If you need dairy free, this is the best one you’ll find.

Best Protein Powder I have ever used! Especially if you own a Nutribullet or similar blenderI was diagnosed with a malnutrition disease SIBO, and was not absorbing nutrients. During the workup and attempts to cure this, and because my weight was falling precipitously, my GI doctor suggested this brand. I found that the Simple line was the best tolerated in my condition because it lacks Stevia. I cannot process many legumes (so no soy), many meats, much dairy (no whey), no FODMAPS (so not the “greens” version with broccoli) You can see where this is going–extremely limited diet for a while. I was able to make a shake with this, almond milk, a Costco frozen packet of Smoothe berries and kale/spinach they sell, and added some ground flaxseed. I was able to digest this and could FEEL the nutrients hitting my body because I got energy, was able to walk up the stairs without collapsing, etc. Fast forward to today where my issues are in remission. I am still making this daily because it tastes AWESOME. I also have to stay on a modified diet to not exacerbate the SIBO. It is a pleasure to enjoy Orgain Simple Vanilla every day. I sometimes make it with pumpkin, frozen spinach/kale and pumpkin pie spice for a delicious pumpkin pie flavor.
