Lacking in flavor and the flavor it does have isnt anything to brag about. But, its easy enough to fix with a few spices, or the addition of some salsa. Pairs exceptionally well mixed with their Mexican black beans.

Here are some key points in my overall experience with this product:- I like that it is non-gmo, gluten free & vegan friendly- good simple ingredients, with no added sugar or sweeteners- love that it is made with brown rice instead of white rice (i dont eat white rice)- perfect to make as a quick dinner side!- bulk box (pack of 6)- pretty good flavor (not as good as the rice we get when we go to mexican restaurants but overall good)- overall good product!

It’s very hard to find microwaveable Mexican brown rice. We love the flavor of this one and the ingredients are great. One star knocked off because the rice tends to be a bit wet and sticky. Ben’s Spanish rice in a microwave pouch stays nice and separate when heated but it’s a white rice and we prefer the brown rice.

Yes this rice does taste ok, but Walmart’s brand tastes just the same & is much cheaper. So I’ll stick with that.

Great flavor and quick to make, I did have to squeeze the contents a good amount before microwaving to avoid that ‘clumping’ of rice.

This SOMOS easy rice has already become a staple in our house as a quick meal to cook for the kids.We can also quickly heat this up at dinner time for an easy addition to chicken, fish, or whatever else we are eating.I have tried just about every type of easy-rice and I can say that the SOMOS rice is hands down the best I have had. Do yourself a favor and grab some while you can!

The rice doesn’t cook right and comes out clumpy instead of fluffy. I was looking for a good seeds of change substitute but this went be it. Good flavor though.

I was surprised at how easy and delicious this rice was! I personally dread cooking rice because it always takes so long. With this, just 90 seconds in the microwave and you’re done. I also loved the cilantro lime flavor, it’s subtle yet so good. I used this in a taco salad and for burrito bowls. Would definitely purchase again.
